Tuusula National show 5th July 2015

One dog was entered, Moonstone. She got JUN EXC1, CQ, CAC, BOB and BOB-jun. Congrats Pola and Maarit, already 3rd CAC for Pola!

When Falcon met a viper.... And results from Finnish Sighthound Associations Specialty

A week ago a viper bit Falcon in his neck. He got massive swelling, and was of course at the vet for IV for several hours. He seems to be doing fine now, swelling is down and he is back to his own goofy self. We still have to do blood tests when it is two weeks from the bite to see if the venom has damaged his kidneys or heart.

Falcon also turned one year yesterday, congrats to our baby boy!

Evaluation: "14 months in very huge size presented male but typical head and body lines. The line from the scull to the nose could be straighter, still developing more chest. Shows good muscles. Good angulated in front and rear. Little weak in front wrist. Shows nice and elegant moving, good power from the rear, has to develop more substance."

Rymwid Celerrimus - absent (because of the snake bite)

3 dogs were entered, judge was Zoran Brankovic.

Evaluation: "Good format, medium strong, typical head, well developed muzzle, good eyes and ears, strong neck, good top and bottom lines, enough developed chest, bit loose in elbows, bit soft hocks, should be stronger in action, typical coat, colour and temperament."

Estonian Winner 31st May

Two cp were entered, but Rokka didn't make it to Estonia due to human error. But, Moonstone "Pola" was present. Judge was Maija Sylgren. Pola got JUN-EXC, JUN-CAC, EEJW-15, EEW-15 and BOB. Congrats to Maarit and Pola!

Helsinki INT 24th May

Hurjahurtazharacz (from Polskis Alfa Romeo × Fernmark Chart Asteroid) was at Helsinki Int show today. He got JUN-EXC1, CQ, CAC BOB and bob-jun. He was the only one attending. Judge was Säde Hohteri, Finland. Evaluation: "Excellent type. Good head. Beautiful expression. Excellenr ears. Good neck. A bit straight shouldersetting. Good hindquarters. For his age excellent brisket. Good upperline. Smooth movement from all directions. Good colour and coat." Congratulations to Zaida and Hara!

Hamina National dog show on 23rd May

Terracotta was the only cp entered. She got JUN EXC1, but no CQ this time. Judge was Harri Lehkonen, Finland. Evaluation: "On the smaller side, although for her age well developed young bitch. Good headshape. Fronchest needs to get stronger and brisket needs more depth. Would like a little more angulations in front and back. Good tail. Correct coat quality. A bit short step in back. Shows herself cheerily. Still needs more time to mature."

Rauma national 17.5 and Aatu moved to own home

A week ago Aatu (Highintensity) found his new home with Jere Pitkänen, they seem to already love each other and get along well! I'm happy that Aatu found just suitable home for him, with lots of love and even some show activities are coming too.

Pola "Moonstone" was at Rauma National dog show. She was the only cp entered. Pola got JUN EXC1 and jun-bob, but to CQ this time either. Judge was lovely Attila Czegledi.
