Turku International Dog Show

There were altogether 7 chart polski entered. Great! Judge was a very gentle man from Slovenia,Stefan Sinko. It is always a pleasure when judge handles dogs nicely.

Males - Junior class

Highintensity, EXC2, CQ, res-CAC Evaluation: "10 months old. Good in type. Head in proportion to the body. Still in development.Bite corret. Nice neckline. Topline still needs time. Correct tailset & good carriage. Good hind quarters with correct angulation. Moved good but still needs training."

Hurjahurtazharacz EXC1, CQ, CAC, BOB Evaluation: 10 months old. Quite nice type. Masculine head in proportion to the body, with correct bite. Good ear carriage. Nice body proportions. Lovely neck. Topline still needs time. Correct tail set and good carriage. Good angulations. Moved good but needs training."

Rymwid Celerrimus EXC3 Evaluation: "9 months old. For his age well developed. Head needs time. Could already be a bit more masculine. Nice neck. Good upperline. Nice strong hind quarters. Correct tailset, but carriage a bit exaggerated."

Bitches - Junior class

Midnightstar EXC3 Evaluation: "10 months old. Very fine feminine head, could be at this age a bit stronger. Bite correct. Forechest need time to develop.Good neck. Good topline. Correct tailset, good carriage. Good hind quarters. In the movement front cordination could be a bit better. Needs time to settle."

Ametysts greetings from Slovakia

Sad news from Poland

Malgorzata send me sad news about darling Laleczka, Silverspell. She had passed away because of sepsis after dog bite. I'm extremely sorry for your loss Goska and Iza! I know she meant everything to you. Sleep well little girl.

2 international shows in Kaunas, Lithuania

I had two dogs with me; Friidu and Rokka. On sunday Friidu was BOB, got CAC and CACIB and became LT CH! Rokka was BOB-jun, BOS and got jun-CAC. No success on the big ring.


On sunday both got same, and Rokka became LT JCH! In the groups Friidu was BOG5 (out of five... ;D). So very succesful weekend! Thank you Taru for company, it was a nice trip!

Helsinki puppy show 11.1.2015

We had 5 of our puppies entered:  Aatu (Highintensity), Hara (Hurjahurtazharacz), Miisu (Midnightstar), Pola (Moonstone) and Terra(cotta). We also had entered a breeder's class. No other cp entered than us. All pictures by Nina Turunen, thank you!

First was boys:
Aatu: "Masculine, balanced entity. Good head and expression. Right bone structure. Moves easily." Honorary price, 2nd

Hara: "Strong, handsomely lined male. Excellent type. Good head and expression. Roomy body. Good legs and easy mover." Honorary price, 1st, BOB-puppy

Girls:
Miisu: "Nicely developed, charming bitch. Good head and expression. Promising body. Good legs. Moves easily." Honorary price, 3rd

Pola: "Well developed, feminine. Excellent head and expression. Good neck. Excellent roomy body. Good legs. Right bone structure and .... Moves easily." Honorary price, 2nd

Terra: "Very evenly built bitch. Great head and expression. Beautiful upper- and lowerline. Well developed body. Right bone structure. Moves beautifully." Honorary price, 1st, BOS-puppy

It was so nice to see that all puppies had grown up nicely, had great temperament and have good, loving homes that take so good care of them! Thank you!

Voittaja viikonloppu Helsingissä / Winner weekend in Helsinki

Friidu osallistui molempina päivinä ja kasvateista Pola sunnuntaina pentuluokassa.

Lauantaina Friidun osaksi tuli tiukalta tuomarilta EH, Friidu ei kyllä liikkunut hyvin mutta olen ehdottomasti sitä mieltä että Friidu EI ole liian kevyt puolanvinttikoiraksi. Arvostelut laitan loppuun lontooksi. 7 polakkia otti osaa, skaala oli H:sta ERI:iin, mutta ei SA:ta eikä sitä myöden roppiakaan.

Sunnuntaina saatiin saaliiksi Friidulle sileä ERI ihan ok arvostelulla. Liike ei kulkenut sunnuntainakaan, hierojalle on mentävä.

Pola tyllerö esiintyi ainoana pentuna oikein reippaana ja iloisena, saaden KP:n ja siten sitten ROP-pentu! Olen oikein tyytyväinen siihen miten Pola on kehittynyt, ja jos kehitys jatkuu näin tasapainoisesti niin siitä tulee vielä todellinen kaunotar.

On Saturday Friidu got only VG from the judge, she wasn't moving well but I totally disagree on the fact that Friidu would be too elegant for a chart polski. Judge didn't give any dog BOB.

On Sunday Friidu got EXC but no CQ, otherwise good review but again she wasn't moving well. I need to take her for a massage.

Pola (Moonstone) attended the puppy class, and got Honorary Price and was therefore BOB-puppy. She has developed nicely, if she keeps on growing as well as this far she will be a real beauty when she grows up!

Saturday VG2 judge Åge Gjetnes, Norway:
Excellent size but could have a bit more strength in overall, a bit thim, a bit rough head with too much stop, too round skull, excellent ears, beautiful long well set neck, good upper- and lower line, harmonically angulated, good bones and feet, would hope more feathering and better coat, could have more strength and drive in movement. Good temperament.

Sunday EXC2, judge Tuula Savolainen, Finland:
3 years. Compact bitch. Good upperline. Almost correct lines in head. Could have less stop. A bit round eyes. Excellent rose-ears. Would hope more frontchest. Straight shoulders. A bit short, steep pelvis. Enough angulated behind. Roomy body. Loosenes in front movement, from side behind movement should have more strength. Enough strong bones in legs. Coat ok.

Pola's review from mrs. Savolainen:
7 months. Good upperline. Rounded pelvis. Correct lines of head. Muzzle should get more strength. A bit light underjaw. Good, dark eyes. Rose-ears. Correct chest. Enough front chest. Well angulated from behind, straight shoulders. Good bones in legs. Moves harmonically with effective steps. Good tail, missing some feathering at this point. Brisk behaviour."
