On Saturday and Sunday were also puppy shows, on both days BOB puppy was Bassebastioni Bonbon (Chaps * Sapientia). BOS-puppy was on Saturday Fernmark Chart Baba Yaga (Chaps * Fernmark Chart Ammutseba) and on Sunday Bassebastioni Bona Selenographia (Chaps * Sapientia).

Uncharted Pompadour 8.7.-4.9.2017

Our little baby boy had to be euthanized yesterday. On Sunday he slipped down from our terrace, and yesterday he could not move anymore without screaming in pain. X-rays revealed multiple breaks and dislocations in the spine, and he was euthanized at the x-ray table to avoid more suffering. We can't believe all this is happening, our joyful and active little man. We miss you so much.

New champions

Last weekend was again eventfull. On Saturday Falcon (Rymwid Celerrimus) was in Tallinn INT in Estonia, and Aatu (Uncharted Highintensity) was in Lillehammer INT in Norway. Both boys got EXC1, CQ, CAC, CACIB and BOB. Falcon became EE CH and Aatu became NO CH and Scandinavian CH!

On Sunday Falcon was again BOB in Estonia with CACIB. In Lillehammer was APPSU special, Uncharted Bluemoon was attending. She got only EXC1 this time without CQ. Luna's last CAC keeps us waiting!

Coursing 30th June and Sighthound specialty 5th August

Terra and Rokka were at coursing last weekend, Rokka won with 449p, missing just one from CAC! Terra got 379p.

Today was sighthound specialty. 4 dogs were entered, but two were missing. Rokka won males with CAC and became BOS, Taru's Fernmark Chart Ammutseba became BOB. Congrats!

Finnish Chart Polski Club's coursing championships 22nd July and Pori INT 29th July

Last weekend we had a great day at the Finnish Chart Polski Club's championships. 4 cp's were attending. Bora won the championship with 508p got her second coursing CAC and was also Best in Field!!! Falcon (Rymwid Celerrimus) became second with 470p, got his last coursing cac and became Finnish lurecoursing champion! Third was Rokka (Highwind Cristallo di Rocca) with 443p (only 7 points from CAC...) and Uncharted Terracotta was 4th with 396p. Thank you all for the nice day!

Elsa was today at the Pori INT dogshow. Judge was strict Unto Timonen, but Elsa got EXC1, CQ, CAC, CACIB and BOB! With this CAC she also became Finnish Champion.

Chart Polski Club Show and Jumesniemi INT coursing

On saturday The Finnish Chart Polski Club had their club show at Kartano Weekend. Three dogs were attending.

Chaps

Unfortunately I have sad new to share. Chaps was hit by car 8th July and died immediately. We miss him dearly, and our thoughts are with Maria.

2nd litter was born 8th July

After a long day we got 2 boys. We had to do c-section, as they were both trying to come out at the same time. One of them may be available. In the future I will update their information to the puppy blog.

Uncharted Terracotta and Highwind Cristallo di Rocca were selected to the Finnish lc team for European championships. Falcon didn't apply, as we should have Pola's delivery at the same time. Thank you Zaida for being active, and good luck!

Chaps' first show in Finland, birthday wishes and Pola's insemination

Chaps was at his first show in Finland yesterday. He did well in crowded Tampere INT show and got EXC1 from Harri Lehkonen.

Yesterday morning I drove with Pola to do the long waited insemination with Elzbieta's Szafir. Her progesterone was optimal, the sperm had excellent quality and the insemination was easy. We have a good chance we will have puppies at 30th June ;)

Our first litter turned three yesterday, congratulations to all at the brink of adulthood!

Puppy news and character test results

Uncharted Highintensity and Bora had a litter of 2 males and 4 females in kennel Highintensity's.

Chaps had a litter with Fernmark Chart Ammutseba, 4 males and 3 girls in kennel Fernmark.

Uncharted Terracotta was character tested: 29p, reacted to shots.

Highwind Cristallo di Rocca was character tested, 113p, no reactions to shots.

Pola's health checks

Pola has been checked healthy in heart, hips, elbows and back. Earlier she has been checked for eyes and knees, so now she is all set for her heat to come.

Winter coursing 12.3.

We had a very nice day. Falcon hurt his nails in the finals and didn't finish the run. Luckily it was nothing serious. Terracotta is now qualified for the European LC Championships too. Next coursing is in the end of April, the qualifying competition for ELCC.

Flip rikki

Flip kävi tammikuussa röntgenissä pidempään jatkuneen kipuilun ja aggression takia. Löydöksiä oli monia (kalkkeutuneita välilevyjä, spondyloosia, nivelrikkoa kyynärässä ja polvessa). Hoitoina on annettu Cartropheniä, särkylääkettä ja tänään prp-hoitoa polveen ja olkapäihin. Polven suhteen on epäilystä ristisiteistä, mutta katsotaan mihin asti tälläisillä vähemmän invasiivisista hoidoista on apua. Peukut pystyyn Flipille!

Bora's health results

Bora was x-rayed. All joints, bones etc were healthy. Hips, elbows and back were also sent to the kennel club for official evaluation. Results were: hips A/A, elbows 1/0, back all clear (LTV0, SP0, VA0).
